“Love Bites!”, the printed book is finally here! Vampires and werewolves join together in this BL comic brimming with sensuality and humor. For adults only! Miguel is a young writer of horror novels (or so he says) and also a fan of all things paranormal. One Halloween night, he’ll drag to the cemetery his friend Lucas, a cachopo delivery guy with intimidating looks but a heart of gold, and together they’ll investigate a murder that took place hundreds of years ago. But when midnight strikes, the light of the full moon will reveal that they’re both keeping secrets from each other...

You can find out what happens that night by reading FullMoonPanic!, a BL webcomic with lots of humor set in Asturias, where the real fantasy is how a head-in-the-clouds writer manages to pay his rent.

“Love Bites” is a Halloween AU featuring my characters... who already live in a comic that starts on Halloween, I know, I know. An argument with Lucas about the existence of vampires will spark Miguel's imagination, and he'll pull an all-nighter writing about the eternal rivalry between vampires and werewolves... and being quite turned on.

That the main characters in his fantasy look so much like him and Lucas is pure and simple coincidence. It’s not like he has an uncontrollable crush with his friend, of course not!

This comic is the first in a series of extras I have planned, inspired by the kind of novels Miguel writes. It’s heavily influenced by B-movie horror films, with plenty of humor, a rebellious spirit, but above all… FEROCIOUS eroticism.

This October, I’d like to ask for your help to celebrate Halloween by turning “Love Bites” into a printed book. The goal of this campaign is to cover the printing costs of the books, in Spanish and English. I also hope to count on your help to make this book as beautiful as possible!

In addition to the book, there will also be some really cool extras, like stickers, prints, and a glow-in-the-dark pin. There are also limited-edition rewards featuring original artwork!

Using a discarded cover design that I still really like, I'm going to make a limited-edition risograph print in three colors: blue, yellow, and neon pink. This one is for the true collectors!

“Secrets of the Sea” a mini-mini-zine will also be available as a bonus, a short comic where we'll discover one of Miguel's greatest fears. It's an old-school, homemade fanzine, the kind made with a home printer and staples. Cover comes in assorted neon colors. 20 pages long!

If we reach 12,000 euros, I'll draw a short bonus comic for the book, about 8 to 10 pages long! It'll be monochrome so you won't have to wait too long for the book, but if we reach this goal the calendar will change, probably it will take me an extra month. I'll keep you updated on the whole process!

As you can see, some of the goals aim to make the book more beautiful, and I hope we can make that happen. Of course, there will be gifts, too!

The initial budget estimate for this campaign covers the printing costs for 300 copies of “Love Bites,” plus the production costs for campaign merchandise and extras, shipping costs, envelopes and packaging, Verkami fees, and taxes.

The more goals we unlock—in addition to adding upgrades to the book and gifts with your orders—the more extra money I'll earn! So if you support my work, I'll really appreciate your participation in this Verkami campaign.

The comic is already finished, right now I’m making some corrections and designing the layout of the book. Some details of the final book will depend on the success of this Verkami campaign, but the plan is to send the book to the printer as soon as the campaign ends.

The rest of the rewards will also be processed after the campaign ends. Pins might be the product that will take the longest to arrive, so estimate about a month, two at most, after the campaing ends.

I hope to start shipping orders in December, but it’s more realistic to expect shipments to begin in January 2027.
