A New Boat, A New Challenge

Hello! We are a family passionate about sailing and the sea, and this story began many years ago.

We are a family of sailors, and I, Clara, am the youngest daughter. I started sailing when I was just 7 years old, aboard a classic 420. A few years later, in 2011, our family took a step forward and bought a Puma 26, an 8-metre sailboat that was already quite old, but which my father, young and ambitious, saw as a new opportunity. With the whole family encouraging him and helping with whatever was needed, we managed to get the boat ready and began enjoying it together.

Little by little, we became more comfortable on board and, above all, we started to notice that we were improving. So we decided to take another step and start taking part in regattas.

The first ones didn't go particularly well, obviously! But over time, we learned, improved and gained experience, and this started to show in our results.

So much so that in 2024 we qualified for the Spanish Cruising Championship, representing the Balearic Islands. It was an incredible experience. We had never imagined that we would get that far, but there we were.

In 2025, my father started looking at second-hand sailboats. The idea of making a change had been on his mind for some time. With the Puma 26, we had already gone as far as we could and had achieved everything we could with the boat. We felt that the time had come to take on a new challenge.

And that new challenge arrived in April 2026. My father and I travelled to France to pick up the Enas, our new racing sailboat.

After carrying out some basic preparations, we began the journey back to Mallorca by sea, together with a friend who helped us along the way. It was quite an adventure and an experience we will never forget!

Now Enas is in Mallorca and a new chapter is beginning. But before we can take on this adventure the way we want to, the boat needs some serious preparation.

And this is where this project begins.

We want to prepare Enas to face the next regatta season in the best possible condition and continue enjoying the passion for sailing that we have shared as a family for so many years.

We know that preparing a racing sailboat involves a significant expense. That is why we have decided to create this campaign and share our adventure with you.

Getting Enas Ready

A racing boat needs to be in good condition in order to compete and, above all, to enjoy sailing safely and with peace of mind.

One of our main priorities is the sails, as they are a fundamental part of the boat's performance. We also want to renew and check different elements of the deck, such as ropes and sheets, as well as carry out any necessary repairs and maintenance work.

These tasks also include hull maintenance and antifouling, as well as other smaller jobs that may arise during the preparation process.

The idea is to carry out this preparation progressively, prioritising the most important improvements so that Enas can reach the starting line in the best possible condition.

⚓ €25 – Knot-Tying Class

With a €25 contribution, you can take part in an online class lasting between 25 and 40 minutes, where you will learn the most commonly used knots in sailing.

We will explain what each knot is used for, in which situations it is useful and how to tie it correctly. The class will be practical and enjoyable, and is designed both for people starting from scratch and for those who want to refresh their knowledge of the most common knots used on board.

Whenever possible, we will group backers into the same session so that it is more dynamic and we can share questions and experiences.

🌊 €50 – Knot-Tying + Maritime Safety Class

With a €50 contribution, you can take part in an online class lasting between 25 and 40 minutes.

In the first part of the session, you will learn the most common sailing knots, and in the second part, we will discover the basics of maritime safety: essential safety equipment on board, recommendations for sailing safely and how to act in some of the most common situations at sea.

Whenever possible, the session will be held in groups.

⛵ €100 – Sail Trim + Knots + Maritime Safety Class

With a €100 contribution, you will have access to a more complete online class lasting approximately 40–60 minutes, allowing you to explore the world of sailing in greater depth.

You will learn the most commonly used sailing knots, the basics of maritime safety, and the fundamental concepts of sail trim: how to adjust the sails according to the wind, how to improve the boat's performance and some of the most common mistakes to avoid.

Whenever possible, the class will be held in groups so that you can share questions and experiences.

🌊 €150 – Sailing Trip for One Person

With a €150 contribution, you can enjoy a two-hour sailing trip aboard Enas for one person.

We will sail along the coast, giving you the opportunity to discover how a racing sailboat works, learn about different aspects of sailing and enjoy the sea from a different perspective.

If the weather conditions and time of year allow it, we can also anchor and go for a swim.

⛵ €200 – Sailing Trip for Two People

With a €200 contribution, you can share the experience with another person.

The reward includes a two-hour sailing trip for two people aboard Enas. During the trip, we will explain how the boat works and share some of the secrets of sailing, and you will be able to take part in some manoeuvres if you wish.

And, if the weather and conditions allow it, we will stop to anchor and enjoy a swim.

A perfect experience to share with someone special, a family member or a friend.

🌅 €300 – Sailing Trip for Four People

With a €300 contribution, you can enjoy a two-hour sailing trip for four people.

An experience designed to be shared with family or friends while enjoying some time sailing aboard Enas.

During the trip, you will get to know the boat, discover how sailing works and, if you wish, take part in some of the manoeuvres.

If the weather conditions and time of year allow it, we will also stop to anchor and go for a swim.

🌙 €700 – Sailing Trip + Overnight Stay for Two People

This is our most special reward.

With a €700 contribution, two people can enjoy a complete experience aboard Enas: sailing trip, navigation, overnight stay and meals included.

We will begin the experience by sailing and enjoying the sea, discovering what life aboard a sailboat is like and getting a closer look at the world of sailing.

When the time comes, we can anchor and enjoy the sunset from the sea before preparing to spend the night on board.

The following day, we will continue enjoying the experience before returning to shore.

The price includes the sailing trip, overnight stay on board and meals for two people.

An opportunity to disconnect, enjoy the sea and live a unique experience that will be difficult to forget.

Important Information

Sailing trips will take place by prior reservation and subject to availability, always taking weather and sailing conditions into account.

Online classes will also be scheduled in advance and, whenever possible, different backers will be grouped together in the same session.

What Will Your Contributions Be Used For?

All contributions raised will be used entirely for the preparation and maintenance of Enas.

The main planned expenses are:

New sails

Ropes, sheets and deck equipment

Repairs and replacement of necessary components

Antifouling and hull maintenance

Other necessary maintenance work and improvements

The final budget will depend on the needs identified during the boat's inspection. Therefore, every contribution, no matter how small, will help us move the project forward.

Planned Timeline

Once the campaign is completed, we will begin purchasing the necessary materials and carrying out the most urgent work.

First weeks: general inspection of the boat and purchase of the necessary materials.

First and second month: installation of the new sails, renewal of ropes and sheets, and completion of repairs and maintenance work.

Afterwards: final preparation and getting Enas ready to begin the sailing and regatta season.

Rewards involving a sailing trip or overnight stay will be available once the boat is fully prepared and subject to availability and weather conditions. We expect to start offering them during the months following the end of the campaign.

We will keep all backers informed throughout the project about its progress.
