My name is Toni (Mora Aldeguer). Toni was a restless child. A restless child with an even more restless child inside, yearning to be heard, perhaps not exactly shouting, as the saying goes, but to be heard nonetheless. Now you'll understand why...

A Little History

Although I consider my profession to be that of a voice actor, a profession I've been pursuing for over twenty-five years, when it comes to music, I'm, as Bowie said, an "absolute beginner." Yes, I'm a novice, and you'll notice it right away, but neither fear—those of you who know me know I'm a real scaredy-cat—nor my lack of musical technique has been an obstacle to trying. Once again, I've let my intuition do its work, and its whisper—"Go for it, you cheeky thing, you've got nothing to lose!"—has led me here, with an imaginary rooted in childhood and this tantrum I'm presenting to you today:

An Exotic Dream Vol. 1

In short...

This is a project, personal and therapeutic in equal measure, called "An Exotic Dream," a small anthology of five songs composed and written throughout 2025 and the beginning of 2026.

The Goal

The primary goal is to complete the production of all the songs and the album artwork, which is also a very important part of the project. Secondly, the goal is to manufacture some copies to distribute to all of you who have shown interest in this very personal project.

I don't want to lie to you, I'm a poorly trained singer and a budding songwriter. I like Sisa, but I'm blown away by The Sound; I like funk, but I know all the Huapacha Combo songs by heart… Anyway, you can imagine the absolutely atypical demos I've ended up creating: crazy, overloaded, unstructured, and who knows what else—just like me, basically… It's obvious that someone will have to bring some order to things, and unfortunately (for them), I already know who it will be.

Two good examples of this are “En Lluís y la Mel” and “Un somni exòtic”. You can listen to both songs on the album, and I think they're a good statement of intent, as is the accompanying video. It's a short animation generated from the artwork that Gloria Sánchez created specifically for these (and the rest) songs for the digital release.

To conclude, I'd like to say that unfortunately I can't offer you a large reward... However, I promise to send you a sneak peek of an old-school record...

Here it is. A wonderful 10-inch vinyl record produced for the occasion by the guys at BSO studio.

What will you find? Well, it's quite simple. To begin with, there are the five songs I composed and produced, as I mentioned, at the BSO sound studio in Barcelona. Dani Espinet, Dani Bonnin, and Kquimi Suigi are an incredibly generous and dedicated team of musicians who made me feel like one of their own (I'm so grateful to them). I'm also incredibly grateful and happy for the collaboration on the album with MLPe; María and Sergio are exceptional. María Lladó's beautiful voice brings to life one of the album's emblematic songs: "Fes que valgui la pena" (Make it worth it). And to further convince you, I should mention that graphic artist Gloria Sánchez (@gloriasanchezartist*) also participated in the project.

Gloria has kindly agreed to illustrate the songs and the physical album with dreamlike creations. Please take a look at her work; it will deeply touch you. Oh, I almost forgot! If your excuse is "I don't have a record player," now is the perfect time to make a small investment and bring into your home the invention that changed my life...yes, friends, a record player guarantees moments of pure happiness and absolute presence in this world and others, believe me... If that's still not reason enough, you can always frame the cover, which is really cool, and hang it wherever you like.
