ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This story is about a boy named Santi (13) who, together with his best friend Fran (13) set out a city adventureone saturday, an unknown land for them, guided by the coolest guy in the neigborhood, “Jova” (19).
On this journey of up and downs they will learn what the the harsh reality of street life is like and will have to question wheather to take their first steps into it or turn back.
We’ll focus on Santi’s perspective, a boy who has experienced a great deal of vicarious trauma. Because of this, he’s a child with a very mature outlook, yet insecure in many ways.
He has always observed a life of crime, violence, and drugs as a bystander, but has never experienced it firsthand. This will be his first encounter with that side of life; today he will decide whether to buy a one-way ticket or a round-trip ticket.

WHO AM I?
I am Nicolas Rosal, I am a film student at ESCAC*. I am 20 years old. I am spanish english and guatemalan. My goal is to become a professional **director of photography, but sometimes I like to explora directing actors.
With this campaign, I want to bring life to a project I've had in mind for a long time.
¿WHO ARE WE?
The team is made up entirely of students. Together we have worked on numerous projects, such as music videos, with artists like YL, Papo2oo4, Taros or Griffi among others; and fictional projects such as Veda (2026), a university prokect, filmed in the Pyrenees, to obtain support from production companies or Corte a Navaja (2025) selected in Univers ESCAC en D'A Film Festival projection.
What will the money raised be used for?
25%Art department: The period setting and atmosphere, props, costumes, and characterization play a major role in this story; with this portion of the budget, we could achieve the artistic goals we’ve set. We will rent most of the equipment; the rest will be purchased or obtained through third parties.
25% Photography Department: We will shoot using professional equipment, including a film camera, cinema lenses, and lighting equipment. We will rent this equipment. With this budget, we will be able to achieve the proposed visual concept.
25% Production Department: In order to film at the locations proposed for the scene, a higher budget is required, as we need to cover transportation, lodging, per diems, and other filming expenses.
15% Distiburion: Once completed, the short film will be submitted to film festivals.
10% Rewards: Rewards This money will be used to fulfill all the rewards.
If the goal is exceeded
If the proposed amount is exceeded, the funds will be used to improve the production quality and filming conditions overall. In addition, the distribution plan will be expanded to bring the project to more locations, and the rewards will be enhanced.
Scheduled Timeline
We are currently in the pre-production phase of the project. Production is scheduled for May 6–11, with filming taking place on May 8, 9, and 10. Filming will take place in the city of Barcelona.
Post-production will take place during the months of May and June, during which editing, color grading, and the soundtrack will be handled.
Finally, there will be a distribution process that will span several months.
