Synopsis

Ruostela, a bored office worker, is violently confronted in his workplace parking lot by Hautamaa — who isn’t there to attack him, but to protect him. A mobster who failed to bribe the office worker has put a price on his head. Two bounty hunters are on his trail, and tragedy is in the air.

Why this short film?

Because as a production company, we want to say hello to the Finnish industry with a clean shot: a short film packed with action, dark humor, and characters who talk funny.

We know perfectly well that, in our position, it’s almost impossible to get funding from Finland’s audiovisual institutions. That’s why this project is more than just a short film: it’s our calling card, proof that with ingenuity and hard work we can create high-quality entertainment that connects with audiences.

If we manage to make it happen — along with other projects we already have in motion — we’ll be able to prove our know-how and our real commitment to those looking for stories worth telling.

Our motto is simple: if they don’t open the door, we break it down. This is our moment and, to make it real, we need your help. We promise not to disappoint you… and to give you one hell of a show along the way.

Who are we?

We are a small international group of audiovisual professionals… and also experts at surviving without a penny. From this Nordic freezer called Finland, we’re determined to bring to life a short film that’s got us hotter than the set’s heater.

The project is in an advanced stage of pre-production: human team ready, technical gear secured, and a top-notch cast willing to go all in.

But there are still expenses firing shots at our empty wallet:

  • Locations

  • Costumes

  • Makeup

  • Prop rentals

  • Catering

  • Transportation

Yes, we’re covering all of that with money we technically don’t have.

That’s why we’re launching this crowdfunding campaign. Your support will not only make possible this short film that excites us so much and that we’re determined to shoot no matter what; it will also help us, with a bit of luck, pay the rent without having to sell a kidney.

Supporting us means betting on a group of talented misfits who, with your push, will be able to keep creating interesting and dangerously entertaining stories in the very near future.

Director: Juan Francisco Fernandez Borrás, the crème de la crème of Granada cinema — only with more cold and less budget.

Production company: Enough Entertainment, unknown but ambitious (and with emotional debts).

Production team: Jose Juan Cañas Bajo & Michael Tselepis

Actors: A bunch of Finnish Vikings willing to shoot each other in a parking lot in exchange for glory and sandwiches.

Why do we need your help?

  • Location: a Finnish parking lot and several cars to blast with gunfire.

  • Costumes, makeup, and props (not cheap if you want blood that actually looks like blood).

  • Minimal but striking set design.

  • Catering (people shoot better on a full stomach).

  • Transportation.

#01 / ¡Obetivo conseguido!
