Our first Soul Weekend happened last weekend 🌿

And honestly? It was everything we hoped for and more.

Beautiful people, soul food, cooking together, long chats around the table, slow mornings and simply spending meaningful time together. It felt warm, easy, joyful and deeply nourishing in all the right ways.

The best part?

People were already asking us during the weekend if we would host another one. 🥹

Last week we did it… we shipped (almost) ALL books. 🥹

All national orders are on their way and many have already arrived. But not only Spain, also Portugal, Gibraltar, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK are on their way.

Only around 20 copies are left, heading to Australia and Canada today — and then every single book will be travelling towards the people who made this project possible.

By the way, that means that our cookbook made it to 9 countries. Honestly… how amazing is that. 💫

Seeing your reactions, your messages and your excitement has been the most beautiful reward for all the work and time we have put into this book. The joy was huge, and hearing how much you love it means everything to us.🤍

They are actually here. In our hands. On our table. In stacks around the house. And THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!

Right now, we’re sitting here signing every single copy and having lots of little “aww!!” moments in between. Thinking of moments we've shared with people at Finca Vegana and re-living so many memories 🥹✨

It somehow feels surreal that after all the dreaming, writing, cooking, photographing, correcting, waiting, re-correcting and waiting lots (!) more… The Finca Vegana Cookbook is now real. 📚

It’s an incredible feeling to finally flick through these pages... The meals we created over the years, the dishes shared with guests, the favourites passed on in WhatsApp voice notes, emails and little paper scraps… now living inside an actual book. Wow. 🤍

We’ve been thinking about this message for a while… and first of all: we’re sorry it’s been so quiet here. We really should have taken you along a bit more over the past weeks.

The truth is — we didn't really know what to tell you. 🥲

At the end of January, the first test copies arrived… (such a big moment! Holding the book for the first time felt surreal.✨)

We went through everything again carefully, did another full round of proofreading and ended up making a few bigger changes. Yep, it's our first time publishing a book so we have learned a lot! 😂

After that, things slowed down more than we expected. Communication with the printing company has been… let’s say, a bit of a lesson in patience (think - waiting weeks for replies 😅).

And we didn’t want to share timelines that we couldn’t fully trust ourselves.

But now, finally, we can share this with you:

Hello lovely people,

We hope you’ve started this new year feeling well, grounded, and with a little sparkle in your hearts ✨

We wanted to give you a quick and honest update on where we’re at with the cookbook.

Before the crowdfunding even ended, we already knew we had raised enough to go to print. So on December 3rd, we sent the final version of the book to the print shop.

And since then…

we've been waiting, waiting, waiting. 😅

At the moment, we’re still waiting for a confirmed delivery date for the sample copies. The printer has told us they’re planning to send them out by the end of this week — fingers crossed 🤞

As soon as they arrive, we’ll carefully review the book, check for any possible errors, and then give the green light for the final print run.

To be honest, this part is a little out of our hands — and even though we know these things take time, we can’t help but feel a bit impatient and also a bit sorry that it’s taking longer than
