La invisible belleza (The invisible beauty)
La invisible belleza —my tenth tango album (also open to other genres, such as bolero or even a beautiful Catalan song)—, together with my third poetry book, are at the heart of this, my sixth crowdfunding campaign.
But it's not just about songs or poems. It's a way of being in the world. A way of connecting, of embracing each other even from a distance, of supporting each other in the invisible.
This project can only see the light of day if it becomes a collective effort. If I can count on the support of those who believe in art as a refuge, as a trench.
Thank you for betting on the invisible beauty too.

La invisible belleza – The album
La invisible belleza is a celebration of encounters.
An album woven together with the participation of musicians from different projects, cities, and backgrounds. A broad and collective work, made together with people I love and admire, and with whom I am happy to share my journey.
Here are the musicians in alphabetical order:
• Adrián Fioramonti guitar
• Alejandro Di Costanzo piano
• Álvaro Pérez tambor piano de candombe
• Anne-Sophie Vallvé piano
• Cecilia Zabala 7-string guitar
• Elbi Olalla piano
• Ezequiel Acosta bandoneon
• Horacio Fumero double bass
• Mariano Olivera guitar
• Nico Pérez guitar
• Olvido Lanza violin
• Santi Carbone guitar
• Silvio Zalambani soprano saxophone

The album production began in Italy, where Silvio and Adrián live, at Duna Studio (Russi, Ravenna), and our recording technicians were Andrea Scardovi and Giacomo Scheda.

In Barcelona, we recorded at Feelback Estudio, owned by César J. de Cisneros.

The repertoire
La invisible belleza brings together works by great creators such as Carlos Gardel, Alfredo Le Pera, Astor Piazzolla, Homero Manzi, Homero and Virgilio Expósito, Cátulo Castillo, Sebastián Piana, Eladia Blázquez, and Mario Clavell.

In tribute to my father and my grandmother Fuensanta from Malaga, I venture into a Spanish song by Antonio Quintero, Rafael de León, and Manuel Quiroga.

The repertoire also includes contemporary compositions, among them three pieces with lyrics by me and music by dear colleagues: by Elbi Olalla, Cecilia Zabala, and another by Adrián Fioramonti, who also set a poem by the great Leónidas Lamborghini.

I also wanted to include a work by the Catalan singer-songwriter Lluís Llach, whose beauty and depth moved me deeply, and which I will sing in Catalan, as a small tribute to this language and culture that are also part of my journey.
The album closes with the poem La invisible belleza (The Invisible Beauty), in which my voice intertwines with a composition by Silvio Zalambani, performed by himself.
The mixing and mastering will be done by César Silva in Argentina.

La invisible belleza – The Book
I began writing this collection of poems, which includes poetry, poetic prose, and aphorisms, in 2020, and over time other texts were added. I have devoted breaks and numerous corrections to the book, which I consider indispensable and very good for “looking at myself in writing”.
I would like to thank Manuel Martínez for his contributions in the early stages of creation, and Ferrán Fernández for the book's design and all his valuable advice and final adjustments.
Special thanks to my admired Víctor Hugo Morales, who has honored me with the prologue.
In this book, you will find me introspective, critical, reflective, ironic, in love, out of love, and also in moments of good humor, even laughing at myself.
Writing for me is a way of getting to know myself and trying to understand, even if only a little, the world that surrounds me (us).
DESIGNS
The album art and design for digital platforms are by Argentine designer Noe Gaillardou.
The merchandising designs are by Homero Distéfano, my son—I say this with pride—who also brings his creative vision to this project.
The book cover was designed by Ferran Fernández.

Why crowdfunding
Producing an album or a book involves many expenses that are very difficult for an independent artist to bear alone. Furthermore, crowdfunding is, for me, much more than a strategy for publishing a work: it is a way of resisting the demands of the market — that voracious monster — and of creating community through art.
Running a crowdfunding campaign requires a lot of dedication and effort, but today it is the only way I can make an album production possible.
This album will not be on Spotify, among other reasons, because it is not a profitable platform for most musicians.
How we will use your contributions
The funds raised through the support of our patrons will be used to cover the following items:
• Creation fees (musicians; recording, mixing and mastering technicians; graphic design, photography)
• CD manufacturing and legal deposit
• Book printing
• Merchandising
• Postage costs
• Production costs
• VAT, Verkami and Paypal commissions
I started production with my own resources. If we exceed the target amount, I will be able to recoup part of that initial investment and strengthen the sustainability of the project.
