A calendar to give permanence to the ephemeral

Hello, I’m Calat33, a multidisciplinary artist from San Sebastián. For years, I’ve been creating giant drawings in the sand, on beaches in the Basque Country and around the world. My works disappear with the tide, but each one is captured from the sky, like a postcard of time.

With this project, I want to publish the very first Calat33 calendar: 12 ephemeral artworks transformed into images that will accompany each month of the year, plus one more piece for the cover. My goal is to share my art with those who value the natural and the fleeting, but also to make it accessible in a format that endures through time.

What will I do with your help?

I want to print 3,000 high-quality calendars, with careful design and fine art paper, where each image preserves the essence of the moment it was created.

Thanks to this campaign, I’ll be able to cover production, shipping, and distribution costs. And you’ll get to take a piece of my work home: an ephemeral artwork turned into something tangible and lasting.

What will the calendar include?

Who I am

My name is Germán, and I sign my work as Calat33. I live in San Sebastián, where the sea is part of my everyday life. Through sand art, I’ve found a way of free expression, connected with the rhythm of both nature and the city.
