WHAT IS MAC Marín?

MAC Marín is an independent film festival celebrating its 5th edition this August in Marín (Galicia, Spain).

It was created with the aim of giving visibility to Galician and national audiovisual works, creating a welcoming space where filmmakers, audiences, and industry professionals can meet and share experiences around cinema.

Over the years, the festival has grown organically while maintaining an accessible spirit and a strong focus on culture as a meeting point for the community.

The festival will take place between the days 18th and 22nd of august, MAC Marín offers a diverse program:

ABOUT THE DESIGN

For this special edition of the “Marín de Cine” Audiovisual Club, we wanted to base our visual identity on a mythical figure from Galician folklore: the mermaid.

This rebranding will make the Marín Audiovisual and Film Festival a more attractive space internationally, welcoming productions from all around the world.
