If we reach €950 in fundraising we will be able to design very realistic 3D images of Gotham City and/or Batman at a cinematographic level never seen in Spain, and rarely in short films . (Fan Films) from the US like "Dying is easy" from Bat in the sun, by digital animation (VFX) artist @mrvegaofficial.

This project aims to be something definitive in the approach of the concept "Fan-Film" or "Fan Short Film" in Spain and in general, in the Spanish-speaking world.

This short film will contain an atmosphere of terror and mystery, the characters will be involved in sequences of action and great suspense that will represent a different and original change compared to other adaptations of the world of these characters . and DC Comics.

"BATMAN: Last Night" is a continuation of the short film "BATMAN: First Night". It is a direct sequel and serves as the end to the plot arc of the story started in the previous short, and although it is not necessary to see the previous one to understand this new project, it is complementary.

As an option, like its predecessor short film, it will be fully subtitled in English for those who want to enjoy the short in that way.

"When Bruce Wayne receives a threatening letter in his mansion, he desperately runs to a meeting to rescue his butler Alfred from the hands of his kidnapper, the Joker. Police commissioner James Gordon will be involved in parallel and will contact Batman after receiving a search and arrest warrant for the Joker upon learning of his escape from Arkham Asylum."

During the story, different characters from the world of Batman will appear that will contextualize the story and his journey as a vigilant during the years after "BATMAN: First Night."

On this occasion the script is written by the director and screenwriter David Conesa (BATMAN: First Night) and Rául Medina, an extensive collector and expert in the Batman universe for more than 30 years.

The choice of the cast has been to take into account the maximum possible fidelity to the source material, the comics.

The age ranges, appearances and acting demeanor are some of the characteristics that have been sought to choose performers who can adapt to their roles with ease.

IMAGES OF THE CHARACTERS IN THE COMICS:

Those who will have the greatest weight in the story are those named in the synopsis, however, there are other characters who will appear to better understand the context and history of Batman in this version. There will also be surprise cameos for fans just like in its predecessor short film.

Director: David has been a film student for four years with experience in Production, Screenplay, Camera and Lighting and Direction. At the same time, during those four years, he has been developing, releasing and collaborating on a multitude of short films of all types of genres. His narrative style predominates in the drama between the main characters and the visual action. He is also in charge as Production Manager.

Director of Photography: Sergio has great experience collaborating on many short films in the technical section, his lighting ideas are visually perfect to continue this story, after participating in "BATMAN: First Night" together with Álvaro Bonis in This department will offer visual cohesion between both short films.

Camera Operator: Carlos will be in charge of adapting the shots to the story, with his participation in short films and video clips by well-known artists in the urban area, there is no one better than him to operate the camera that will transport us directly to the world of Batman.

Gaffer: Héctor is a loyal companion in any type of project you want to take on, in this one he will take the reins of helping the Director of Photography to create the lighting and direct his electrical team in the best way possible. way possible.

Camera Assistant: Héctor is a loyal companion in any type of project you want to get involved in. In this he will assist Carlos in the camera and due to the number of collaborations they have done together, they will be able to work quickly and efficiently.

Camera Assistant: David is someone very responsible, he will be in charge of providing marks on the set for the actors and furniture as well as ensuring that the filming meets the minimum requirements with the characteristic clapperboard.

Stunts: Mario Salgado and Paul Hawk are professional film specialists and will be in charge of piloting the action scenes, along with their particular team of stunts, so that the short film grows in quality in its most explosive aspect. Both have worked on a multitude of films, series for different platforms and have been part of previous shorts by the production company Damuga FILMS.

2nd Gaffer: Cristina, experienced in the sector, will be willing to direct the appropriate lighting in a second unit of the shoot.

2nd Camera Operator: Álvaro was part of the first part of the story, his way of framing is very professional. This time he will return to the camera in the 2nd unit.

Makeup: Both Elena and Carolina are experts in makeup and film prosthetics, leaving an unmatched visual image on the actors.

Art Director: Julio was part of the art team on the previous Batman short film, he was in charge of the sets for the first Batcave and Wayne Tower. It was indisputable that he would collaborate again on this new installment.

What will we use your contributions for?

Contributions will be allocated completely and exclusively to the project in the following sections:

• Locker room

• Make-up

• Props/Art

• Location deposit

• Rental of camera lenses and different technical equipment needs (tapes and utilities)

• CGI (CG digital effects of the Batmobile by @mrvegaofficial)

With the goal of €780 we would cover the basic needs to carry out the project, if we exceeded this goal we would choose to obtain better props, costumes and CGI materials.

Planned schedule

Filming will begin in early September and will end in October with a schedule of 5 to 7 days of filming.

It is possible that filming could extend a few days between November and December at the latest.

The rewards are intended to be received to donors as soon as post-production of the short film is completed, scheduled to be completed in December of this year.
