What is Mrs. Carrington?
Over two years ago, we created an online series called Mrs. Carrington, a small project which got bigger from dusk to dawn. Featuring stars Margott (very well known in Granada's night life) and Tormenta García, it amused and entertained a vast audience, especially in Spain and South America.
The first season was funded by the creative team, but geographical as well as work changes prevent us from producing a second season. Thus, I felt appropriate to turn to the crowfunding, our fans and that vast audience to give it an end.
Our Project
The budget will be spent mostly on production expenses:
Transport, food allowance and accommodation for the team
Hairstyling and make up
Atrezzo and details from the time
Technical equipment, electric power, lamps and hiring whatever is needed
Rent the venues for the shooting
Building materials for wardrobe and atrezzo
Other expenses and needs that may come up during shooting
The script and part of the pre-production is done. The team is ready and we are just waiting for the time to start.
The whole pre-production would take about a month and a half or two. In that time, we expect to be able to finish finding the film locations and to match the schedule for all the team members. Then, we will need one more month for the shooting and another one for editing. All in all, it would take about 3 to 5 months, always depending on the unexpected problems or the nice surprises that we may find during the process. Part of the team live abroad and so it is not possible to count on them for the shooting until they are back.
We are really looking forward to filming the second season of Mrs. Carrington and eagerly awaiting the moment to show every thing we are preparing.
The Team
Our team gets involved for the sake of the pleasure of working on the project, just as we did on the first season. Even the cameos by famous stars that we have scheduled for this season, who are keen on collaborating with us. Our filming sessions are always well organised, with smooth workings and relaxed atmosphere making of every shooting an unforgettable experience for everyone.
We are an eclectic bunch of artists, photographers, writers, designers and creative people passionate and very keen on the project.
