*HOW IS use the money? *
Help for the first phase of production BURNING ICE exhibition consisting of a trip to Iceland, stay there for the location, sound recording, taking pictures, and shooting.

*What stage IS MY PROJECT? *
The project is well advanced and the logistics closed so that there is only planning the trip to Iceland and making photographs. At home we have a local agency that provides transportation and support they need to visit the most important landscapes and meet the social and cultural center of Reykjavik where they will do most personal snapshots of anonymous citizens country.

WHY ICELAND?
Because it is a fascinating country, dream, and a landmark of my visual and musical universe forever. The character of its people, the physique of the people, their language and abysmal strange, lunar landscapes, stellar cold, the lakes, the sound of wind, water and light, an eerie and magical country, the land of I admire artists like Ólafur Arnalds, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Ólöf Arnalds, Sin Fang, Sóley, Valgeir Sigurðsson,Bjork, Sigur Ros, GusGus, o Múm.
But also because Iceland has suffered in recent years a brutal economic crisis, much like Spain now suffers, but his management of it has been completely different. The active role of civil society has been instrumental in bringing to light the real reasons for the crisis, and put the focus on the active agents that have sprung up. And it was also the Icelandic society has chosen to seek mechanisms to reestablish many of the principles "immutable" governing the foundations of the welfare state. Some of these actions have been as crucial as imprisoning some of their politicians and bankers. A country whose prime minister is a woman, openly lesbian can not leave us indifferent. This is where I want to be and it is this reality that I want to show with this project.
This Icelandic post-crisis economic but also emotional, is the focus on which I base the conceptual and visual aspect of my new job. And in this quest probably find some answers that can guide me in finding ideas to our own emotional crisis and I want to share with you.
ABOUT MY WORK
After 12 years of artistic work that have led me to exhibit my works and project centers like the Queens Museum in New York, the Barbican Center in London and the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid and at prestigious film festivals such as Berlin, Los Angeles, Bombay or Lisbon and countless and world competitions.
Currently preparing my first feature film "Iceland" and participated in group exhibitions ART IN GROUP in Valencia
