After a distinguished career as a creator of interdisciplinary shows and concerts, Silvia Nogales Barrios embarked on her most personal project,, SEDA.

Once again, she relies on her guitar and creates this record and stage project, a unique and sensory journey through the history and music of different women from around the world, through the fusion of styles and disciplines.

SEDA is anything that can brighten our skin and flood our head with thoughts and memories. A journey through the lights and shadows, the life experience of an anonymous woman who could be anyone.

She travels the world with her particular Via Crucis, and weaves her way through different countries in analogy to the Silk Road, searching between her history and that of other women for the final catharsis

We encourage you to discover, feel and experience this evocative journey under the original music of great composers such as the Argentine Claudia Montero, the Brazilian Clarice Assad or the Israeli Anna Segal, the Spanish María Parra and the also Spanish resident in Miami Cinthya García.

The recording work has been recorded in Barcelona, in the studio Latin Song con el ingeniero de sonido y guitarrista Pablo Despeyroux. Sound production is in charge of Silvia Nogales and Strömmar (José Domenech and Cinthya García).

In the graphic design for the CD and animation for the live shows, we have Elisa Martinez.

Also in the stage part we had the fantastic set designer Alessio Meloni.

About the rewards

Who we are

Silvia Nogales Barrios - Creator of the project.

Silvia is a different guitarist, who stands out for her sensitivity, beautiful sound and ability (recognized by masters such as Leo Brouwer) to create recitals and interdisciplinary projects, in which the guitar repertoire merges with other disciplines. An example of this is The Six Maidens by Juan Ramón Jiménez (represented in prestigious venues such as the Juan March Foundation with the actress Esther Acevedo).

Other proposals created by Silvia have been Músicas Cervantinas y Altamira, Ancestral y Mágica, which were selected in two editions of the MusaE project, under the Ministry of Culture and managed by Fundación Eutherpe and Juventudes Musicales de España. These proposals were performed at renowned festivals and state museums inside and outside our country. The Altamira show undergoes a transformation in 2020 at the request of the VIII Cycle of Contemplative Music of Barcelona, and becomes a live music and painting project with the artist Josep María Rius (Joma).

She is invited to perform concerts and masterclasses at the Guitar Festival of Santiago (Chile) and Conservatorio Superior de Buenos Aires (Argentina). Besides, he is a jury member in competitions alongside big personalities like Leo Brouwer.

Where will we use your contributions

The first goal is to be able to manufacture the physical CDs of the music of the SEDA project. These CDs will be of high quality (injected CD) and on them you will find the texts with the history of each of the SEDA pieces, as well as a brief review of each composer. The design will be in charge of Elisa Martinez.

Apart from the above we would like to finish the audiovisual part, with the realization of a promotional video clip for one of the pieces of the project.

What if we exceed the €5,500 target?

1. We will improve the design of the CD, to turn it into a disc book, enlarging content. Something we dreamed of from the beginning.

2. We will invest part of the money in advertising and broadcasting.

3. We will add rewards.

4. We will make a second video clip.

Planned timetable

CD manufacturing and rewards are estimated between March and early April, for estimated delivery in April. Our wish is that, if you wish, you can collect the rewards at the concerts presenting the project: like the one on April 22 in Madrid. If everything flows and goes astern:D you will also have them on April 9 in Puertollano (Ciudad Real).

Remember that we have some rewards limited to the first 72 hours and which include regular shipping to Spain. This outstanding reward won’t last long, so make the most of it!
