Help us organise the expo 50over50!

My name is Beata Praska, (MBA, 7 languages), a photographer nominated on national level in Spain Photographer of the Year 2019 and 2020 by FEPFI. .
 

The proyect consists in photographing 50 women over 50 years old and organsing an exibition at the end, with the story of each participant told below the portait.

The objective of the project is to reclaim the position of a mature woman in society. With the help of this exhibition, I want to empower women of our age, over 50 years old.

We have to constantly educate the society that a woman over 50 years old is not invisible, that her vital space should not be reduced as time pases by. To grow old is not a destiny that a woman should be succumbed to passively, it is a destiny that she should dominate and face actively. We are in a historical moment of time where many of us lost fear to face a radical change.

A strong attraction towards a true emancipation accepted by society will hopefully lead to results that we all desire.

About me

I am a former executive with 17 years of international experience in the energy sector. 4 years ago my life changed drastically and I founded a fine art photography studio in Madrid, Spain.

How will your money be used

Your contribution will be dedicated to print each portrait in big format and mount it for the exhibition.

Timeframe for the exhibition

We will try to organise the exhibition for the 8th of March - The International Woman's Day.
