2020 Challenge

We are designing, developing, and manufacturing an electric off-road motorcycle. Our value proposal seeks to maximize safety and efficiency in those sports events in natural environments. Using a medicalized motorcycle with the capacity to carry out the stabilization of injured people.

Dayna's concept becomes a viable and feasible project thanks to different agents of the environment that have allowed us to develop a solid and fundamental value proposal. These agents are defined within a professional framework such as the Medical Emergency Service (SEM), the Rescue and Special Action Group (GRAE), Self-Protection Plan engineers, and world-renowned brokers.

We believe that universities are and must be spaces for research sand innovation, where ideas must be developed not for today or tomorrow, but the future.

Barcelona Smart Moto Challenge & ERT

The Barcelona Smart Moto Challenge is an off-road electric motorcycle competition in which 20 teams from different universities from all over the world participate.

Last year with the first edition of the Elisava Racing Team, the team manufactured a functional off-road motorcycle, Eray, to participate in the BSMC2019.

ERAY won 5 awards. The team received two first prizes for the best battery pack and the best smart system. It also received three-second prizes: Dynamic events, Static events, and the overall position in category A, for the good results in the two previous tests.

To thank you for your collaboration, we have devised a series of rewards divided into packs that increase in value and level according to the amount you help us finance.

What will your contributions be used for?

100% of the contributions obtained through Verkami will be allocated to the material we need to finish the bike, to be able to finance us, and to bet on more innovative ideas and thus empower our team abroad. Non-profit.

Unlike foreign teams, we do not have public or external aid, so we are financed almost 100% by sponsors who offer us tools, services, discounts, etc.

Investing in this project is not only supporting a team of students but also betting with new technologies as a tool for change to build a more efficient society in rescuing people and respectful of the environment.

Who are we

We are a group of eleven fourth-year students of industrial design engineering and design from the University of Elisava, located in Barcelona. Together we form a multidisciplinary team, capable of working on all design, development, and manufacturing processes.

Bearing in mind the incorporation of innovative technologies from the Internet of Things (IoT), additive manufacturing technology, and sustainable production processes.
