Hi, we're Boreals, a band that plays instrumental electronica, based in Barcelona. A little about us: we're three students of age 20 and 21. We've been active as a band for a bit more than one year, in which we have released two Eps, Rome and Grecia. These have allowed us to be included within the three best demos of Catalonia according to MondoSonoro magazine, among others, and to sneak in into the line-ups of festivals such as Primavera Sound. Now we want to release our first videoclip, but for that we need your help!
We want to produce a videoclip of the song “Desde un mirador”, from our Grecia EP. We don't want to give away too many spoilers, but we intend to adapt the video to the vitalist concept of the song. Here you can watch some demo images that we recorded close to the city of Vic.
And, for us, the most important part of the project is to reward you well for your help. That's why we thought of setting up a presentation party for the music video in which we will give a concert (in Barcelona). Everyone who contributes will receive invitations to the party, with more invitations to those who donate more.
And we're also making new, limited editions of merchandise meant to you as gifts. For example, an inedited, physical version of the Grecia EP, limited edition t-shirts and handbags, and a DVD of the music video. We even thought that it would be fun to invite you to have lunch/dinner at the apartment we share -where we rehearse and compose-, or give a private concert at your place.
We've written down the approximate costs of producing the music video, so that you can see them in more detail:
- 2 operators of Canon 5D cameras > 2 x 100 = 200€
- 1 operator of Canon 5D Steadycam > 150€
- Edition + Postprodution > 350€
- Equipment transport (3 persons + musicians + actress) to filming locations (fuel, car + 4x4) > 70€
- Food costs (7 people) > 12 x 7 = 84€
- Rewards (undervalued aproximation) > 146€
