The Project

This is a CD inside a 32 page book, on an LP album format, with 14 songs of very different styles, composed along 50 years living on the road and in the studio. A big bunch of musicians who crossed my path when I produced, recorded or played with bands such as Semen Up, Os Resentidos, Bombeiros Voluntarios and Siniestro Total (in Spain) or Arte & Oficio, Stick and Trabalhadores do Comercio (in Portugal) have joined this project.

To add a bit more variety, mixes have been performed in different studios across the Iberian Peninsula, whose engineers I trust very much: Paco Loco, Pablo Iglesias, Pancho Suarez, Javier Vicalo, Serafim Borges, Domingo Serralbo or Pedro Vidal.

Paintings & Music

Apart from them, 5 fantastic painters have jumped in to deliver 16 original paintings, each one specially dedicated to each one of the songs, plus the front and back covers. The book delivers a superior graphic quality and the CD a superb recording quality.

So, this "solo" album is really not such. There are more than 40 musicians of different nationalities participating with me on this project.

The rewards

My intention is to deliver the finished album - the 32 page book with the 14 song CD inside - to the door of each of the patrons who contribute with at least 25 €uro (freight paid for destinations in the peninsula).

In addition, USB pen-drives with the entire album in WAV and high resolution mp3 formats will be available for you to enjoy the music in your car.

What will the money for

The money I want to raise is to fund the book and CD manufacturing. The format of the book (31cm x 31cm) makes it a very expensive investment - around 5.000€ - due to the graphic quality, type and weight of the paper and varnished cover.

When

My expectations are to have the album manufactured and ready by the end of November being able to ship it to you during the first two weeks in December. An excellent Christmas gift.
