ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Last Pensioner is a short film written by J. Julio García and co-directed with David Domenech, starring Urko Olazábal and Sergio María, which will be filmed in Sangüesa (Navarra) on the 2nd and 3rd of November (based on a script selected as a finalist for the Navarra Film Festival).
WHAT IS ABOUT?
Our story conjures a dystopian image of our country a century from now; a land beset by problems of pollution and extreme temperatures caused by climate change.
WHAT MOTIVATES US?
To consider the extent to which politicians can lead us to situations now unthinkable, but not impossible, reinforced by a greater lack of empathy in human beings towards others, without thinking about the consequences, a stupid thought based on 'short-termism'

WHERE WILL THE MONEY GO?
On many things: to start, we shoot in Navarra and part of the team will have to pay their travel costs (fuel and tolls) from Barcelona and the Basque Country, as well as living costs on the days of shooting. Much of the equipment (drone, drone technician, lighting, sound) will also have to be rented. We will also pay a musician.
SCHEDULE
The recording of this short film will take place in Sangüesa (Navarra) on November 2nd and 3rd.
The rewards will be delivered in different months from December, depending on the different packs chosen and the scheduled dates of each of these rewards.
The premiere will be in Pamplona, but we will also aim to screen it in Madrid and Barcelona, so that many of you can come. If someone cannot come, we can always ensure that you see the finished movie online.
