Hi! We are the composer David del Puerto and the guitarist Jeremy Bass. Our goal is to release a world-premiere recording of three guitar sonatas, composed by David and performed by Jeremy.
The release will be on Orpheus Classical in digital format, as well as on CD with liner notes by Jeremy, and photos by Elena Castro.
Composed between 2015 and 2016, these works are exceptionally well-crafted, and highly listenable.
We made the recording in Legacy Hall, in August, 2018. Legacy hall (Schwob School of Music, Columbus State University) is among the most renowned concert halls in the United States.
Dr. Matthew McCabe (professor of audio technology, CSU) was the sound engineer, and Dr. Robert Sharpe (Cleveland Institute of Music/Yale School of Music) was the session producer.
