PROJECT DESCRIPTION
On December 8, 2018, we will premiere at the Teatre El Musical (TEM), the theatrical dance show SOM CABANYAL, the result of the A QUELAR, CABANYAL project, with the participation of the children and young people that are part of this year project.

The project A QUELAR, CABANYAL was one of the 18 projects selected among the 224 submitted to the 2017 call for Art for Change by the Obra Social La Caixa. Thanks to their collaboration, 40 children have been trained for free throughout 2018 in a continuous program of flamenco dance, cajón, guitar, including the master classes given by prestigious flamenco professionals of his ethnic group.
For many of our students, this is the first extracurricular activities they have attended (always punctual, always cheerful). For all of them this will be the first time they will go on stage and perform in a professional show with performers of the stature of Montse Cortés, Manuel Reyes and Agustín Carbonell "El Bola", among other figures.
The assembly will revolve around the stereotypes under which the gypsy people, the most numerous ethnic group and with more years of permanence in the Peninsula, is typified. The show will also have an educational character, thanks to a format and a methodology that allows its representation and approach to the school community.
YOUR HELP IS KEY, SO THAT THE SHOW IS UP TO THE VITAL FORCE AND THE ILLUSIONS OF OUR YOUNG TALENTS.
We are convinced that this experience can help the FUTURE ARTISTIC PROFESSIONALIZATION of some of them, to the RECOGNITION AND IMPROVEMENT OF RELATIONS WITH THEIR ENVIRONMENT. And for everybody, actors and spectators, it will be a UNIQUE AND VITAL UNREPEATABLE EXPERIENCE.
Hearing your voice, knowing that you care as much as we do, will be a reward for this year's work, enthusiasm and effort. Your contribution will allow us to assume the minimum expenses to carry out the production of the show and make it possible to incorporate the basic elements for a worthy representation:

All this to make a dream come true: your dream, our dream.
WHEN
October and November will be months of hard work, daily rehearsals, coordination of professionals, and fine tuning of all the elements necessary for the show. Our objective is to premier, with the quality and format that our young artists deserve, on DECEMBER 8, 2018 at TEATRE EL MUSICAL, TEM, of Valencia.
WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU, EXCITED TO SHOW YOU WHAT THEY HAVE ACHIEVED WITH YOUR HELP. At that time, we will give you the rest of the rewards. In case you cannot attend the show, we will send them to you by mail from December 8th. The master class will also be held from December 8th. We will contact those interested to specify a date and time according to their availability.
ABOUT US
SOM CABANYAL, is a production of the company EXTREMUS DANZA.
A contemporary Spanish Flamenco and Dance company, directed by the choreographer Eva Moreno, with innovative proposals from which to reflect on current situations and research new formats of relationship with the viewers.
