Uncoloured Girl is a final short film project of the Master's Degree in Film Direction at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) which has been chosen by the ESCAC FILMS jury to be filmed. With your help, it will be possible to make this ambitious and beautiful challenge a reality, with which we do not only intend to learn and enjoy; but also take our story to the big screen, going to a large number of festivals in Spain and abroad.
- ELI is a young photography student who is colour blind from birth. At a party he meets up with an old love, ADRI, who invites her to try a strange drug, thanks to which ELI begins to see colours for the first time. In this way, ELI will have to decide whether to live with this drug or to reject it and accept herself and the black and white world to which her belongs.
Uncoloured Girl is a story about ELI. It will always be approached from the point of view of ELI, her relationship with ADRI being very important.
Photography will be a key aspect in the story and we will see the world as ELI would, clearly differentiating black and white, and colours scenes.
Filming style will be close to the characters, enjoying close-ups and handheld hooting.
ELI's character will be played by Cintia Ballbé, lead actress of numerous short films, formed in Barcelona and New York.
Júlia Molins, an actress with an important career in Spanish television series such as Cites (TV3) or Seis Hermanas (TVE), as well as in theater, will play ADRI's role.
The crew is made up of young professionals, coming from most of the different ESCAC masters, with extensive experience and, above all, a lot of enthusiasm.
The money obtained through the Verkami platform will be added to the own capital of the project, to be able to finish the filming. The accumulated amount will go to the rental of material and locations, as well as to makeup, costume and art departments.

The short film will be recorded in mid-January. In the month of February we edit the film and in March the last details will be defined (soundtrack, color grading, etc)
We intend to finish the short film in April. As soon as it is finished we will announce the date of the previews (one in Barcelona and another one in Seville), and then we will send you the link and the rest of the rewards.
The rewards will be sent once the project is finished. The digital and physical rewards will be sent together.
We will work the designs with the same affection that we will put on the short film. **Without your collaboration, this project would not be possible.
