Cabaret del Món is a 1930's-style cabaret that seeks out cultural ambassadors and performers with unusual skills - in any and all languages - who we gather together to create unique and weirdly wonderful shows for our audiences.
We are convinced that a multi-cultural, multi-lingual variety show has a place in Barcelona, and we feel honored to be able to create and share these magical shows that are both gratifying for the artists and wildly fun for the audience.
If we reach our funding goals, the next show will happen February 15, 2018 at the Eixample Teatre in Barcelona.

In 2017, we have put on three shows that have included bi- or tri-lingual hosts and talent from 12 countries.
Our shows typically consist of clowns, burlesque dancers, musicians, dancers, singers, magicians, storytellers, acrobats, and drag queens.

How Can I Help?
Your contribution to this campaign will pay for the theater, the programs, the Facebook advertising (for the campaign), the renting of costumes, and the rental of the light and sound equipment. Your contribution will also directly pay for the artists and the crew, without whom we would have no show.

Rewards
We have put together some great perks that will not only get you a ticket to the hottest event in town, you will also be given something that will later remind you of a very special evening spent at the Eixample Teatre with some of Barcelona's most wacky and fabulous performers.
Included in the list of rewards are some for friends and family who live abroad and can not attend the show but still would like to support the project.
Who We Are
Cabaret del Món is driven by Emma Sottardi, a veteran performer and professional organizer of musical and creative projects. Her team consists of theater professionals in every field, including light and sound technicians, directors, actors, stage managers, and costume-professionals from the Barcelona-based English-speaking theater community.

Timeline
If, by mid-December, the campaign looks to be successful, the casting announcement will be made. Auditions for the artists will happen in early-January.
Immediately after the show has been cast, we will begin rehearsing to discover which acts we can mix together and what kind of storyline will work best to sew this show together in the funniest way possible.
The show will happen February 15, 2018 at the Eixample Teatre in Barcelona.
Thanks
Thank you tremendously for your interest in keeping the performing arts alive by investing in live theater!
I hope to meet you at the show to thank you personally for helping us put it on.
