What's going on?

It's been a little over a year since I started writing songs and ideas for a "Matthew McDaid & The Last Minute Soldiers" debut album. Songs born from the mountains and the passing of the seasons with messages and stories that describe the path I walk at this moment of my life. We now have the opportunity to record these stories under the name of "Off The Beaten Track".

Everything's ready to go, we've got the music, the musicians, the studio and the enthusiasm... the only thing we're missing is the finance.

"Off The Beaten Track" is our debut album which means that it's a very important moment for me and the project. It's the time when we find our "sound". A "sound" that may travel with us for the rest of our career. That's why I've surrounded myself with the best musicians and producers that are going to help me find it.

What you get for collaborating with this campaign

It's quite simple. "Off The Beaten Track" cannot be born without you. That's why we have a lot to offer. There are cds, T-shirts, tickets to the release gigs, private concerts in you own living room and much more.

Where is your money going?

Every pledge will go directly towards the production and editing of the album. This means it will help us pay for the studio, the editing and the mastering. We can't do it without you!

What if we go over our goal?

If we go over our goal we will then have the chance to spend more time in the studio moulding and perfecting our sound making sure we can release an album we can be even more proud of.

Calender

We anticipate recording in the latter part of January and the album will be released in the spring of 2017, at which time we will start to send out your rewards.

Writing this album has been an adventure of emotions and personal discovery. It has brought me to meet beautiful people with enormous talent and the same enthusiasm for this music. Help us and let's make it happen!
