WHO WE ARE?
Milimbo is a small studio / workshop in graphic design, but also a publishing project. We make image books, books to be read with eyes wide open. To read carefully, exploring those things that can not be done otherwise. You read the forms, colors, symbols, intuit situations... Thus reading becomes a game that stimulates the imagination.
For that storytelling we use images and play with them. Sometimes we create ourselves these images, to play with the elements of the story. This helps us understand and create new possibilities.
THE PROJECT
We wish to throw yourself into our carboard jungle. And play to be Jacintathe monkey, or the poor tiger Felipe always have the flu, Gertrude the lofty giraffe or Camilo the crocodile, not forgetting Theodore the elephant ... always going tube.
So we've created our own jungle of cardboard. A troop of fierce animals seeking playmates. Geometric animals, almost mathematical ones, but above all ethical and very natural. You can play riding your own jungle with this kit of animals, trees, plants and a cottage with assembling parts .
And to produce this game we thought Verkami to finance the project. So your contribution will help us move forward with our project, and finally, to produce a limited edition of 300 kits "Jungling"
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We need 3,500 euros to finance the production of the project. And to pay the cost of 300 cases. This includes: materials, stamping, parts production, handling, production box, box and booklet printing. And of course the shipping.
Each kit consists of a box containing 45 pieces of cardboard, 5 of these are animals (monkey, giraffe, tiger, elephant and crocodile) 25 pieces for mounting the jungle trees and plants and 12 parts to assemble a cottage on a tree. It also includes a booklet with different mounting proposals.
WHY WE DO IT?
Play worth's nothing if it isn't fun. And if the toy does all the work, it'll be the only one having fun.
We think there's no single way of doing and thinking. We believe that with the release of the Kit Jungling, you will not only play, but sure you'll be able to create new forms of game animals.
FOR WHOM DO WE DO?
This project is "also" for children.
This is a game made with geometric shapes, simple graphs. We try to stimulate the game, wathever it's in your head.
HOW WE'LL SPEND THE MONEY?
We want to make a small production. A limited edition of 300 kits with different types of contributions.
That means taking the prototype to a plane, create a die, some prints, some manipulated (we'll do it with patience and a big smile) and a small attached publication.
Also, each of you who can no longer resist the temptation... you want to have in your house as soon as possible ... and you're not all nearby.

Gracias por compartir tu entusiasmo con nosotros.
Entiendo tu reticencia a comprar por internet, pero ahora mismo es nuestra principal vía de distribución, ya que somos una editorial pequeña (casi microscópica) y nuestra presencia en librerías y tiendas no es tan grande como nos gustaría.
Si me dices dónde vives te puedo decir con seguridad qué tienda o librería cercana tiene nuestros productos, o informarte de cuando asistimos a una feria cerca.
De todos modos te anticipo que principalmente nos encontrarás en Madrid, Barcelona, Pamplona y Valencia.

Lamentablemente se ha cerrado el proyecto. Sin embargo podemos facilitarte el nombre y dirección de las tiendas que nos lo han comprado, y así todos salimos ganando: tú lo consigues, las tiendas lo venden, y nosotros vemos que la cosa funciona y nos animamos a hacer otros proyectos.

Nos encanta que aportéis un punto de vista tan meticuloso y teniendo en cuenta lo pedagógico. A nosotros también nos interesa lo pedagógico, pero principalmente lo lúdico. Este es un juego abierto, y nosotros hemos decidido que este sea un tigre, símplemente porque se nos ocurrió ponerle los círculos de color amarillos.
Ahora imagina ponerlos negros. Automáticamente sería una pantera. Y si le diseñas una melena, sería un leon. En eso consiste esta propuesta: hacer crecer la jungla y dar un pie para que el juego no se detenga.
Quizá el niño quiera incorporar a estos animales un hipopótamo o una cebra. Sería fantástico y animamos a los padres a que se impliquen y ayuden a crearlos. Pero quizá, el niño decida añadir a la jungla una nave espacial o una ambulancia conducida por un hamster... Eso, si en su cabeza y en su juego tiene sentido, es todo lo que necesitamos para acceder a crear un juguete.
Pero tenemos muy en cuenta este punto de vista y lo agradecemos enormemente.

Hola, me ha llegado vuestro proyecto y me parece superbonito. Solo una duda: no se si es muy educativo poner en el mismo habitat Tigres y jirafas p.e, ya que en Africa no hay tigres, solo viven en Asia. Hay topicos que mejor no heredarlos.

Aun estamos desarrollando el prototipo del expositor pero te anticipo que no es demasiado grande. Esta semana intentaremos colgar alguna foto y trataremos de pasaros medidas concretas.
