About the project
After two years playing together, plenty full of concerts, projects, ideas, hard work and enthusiasm, we believe it is about time to capture it all on a CD, a compilation of our current repertoire. A collection of duo literature jewellery -flute and bassoon- and arrangements for trio -flute, bassoon and marimba- from some of the best composers in history such as Beethoven, Saint Saens, Villa Lobos or Piazzolla.
Light – Blowing Shadows is much more than our first album. It is Duo Almira’s portrait. Playing together has helped us to blow the shadows lurking life, especially in the professional field. The combination of educated music and more accessible music we play at our concerts gives light to the dark prejudices surrounding classical music. Because music must be felt not understood.
Duo Almira
Duo Almira has its roots in the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene), where Isabel and Paula discovered the chamber music world and all its possibilities with Professor Gabriel Loidi.
Since its inception they have had one goal: to move with their interpretations. Thanks to this, imagination and creativity have not ceased from flying, offering duo or duo with marimba concerts, choosing repertoire that leaves no one indifferent. Although it is a young ensemble they have already performed at the Teatro del Canal, as part of the Ibercaja cycles of chamber music or at the “nights” of the Olivar de Castillejo Foundation. In addition, they hold a scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin - Live Music Now foundation.
Where will your contribution will be allocated?
Mastering is the final step we need to do to make our first album a reality.
With your help all the material that we’ve recorded will be mastered, necessary legal steps will be followed and we will make a first edition of 500 copies. Do you dare to join Light – Blowing Shadows?

Planning schedule
If our target is met, we want to celebrate it in style. And we cannot have a party without all of you! Therefore, we invite you to our CD concert presentations. Yes, yes, you read that right, there will be two CD concert presentations, one in Madrid and one in Navarra, to ensure your attendance and personally thank you for all your support.

La producción de música clásica, por las características de las obras , requiere mucho más trabajo de grabación y edición que por ejemplo una banda rock, independientemente del número de instrumentos. En ningún sitio decimos que necesitamos 15días de estudio. Es más, la parte de la grabación ya esta finalizada y financiada. Hacemos este crowdfunding para financiar la edicion y la realización de las copias, que asciende a casi 2000€. De momento tenemos pensado hacer un Jwelbox, en caso de recaudar lo suficiente como para costearnos una edición mejor, lo haremos. El Cd tendrá un precio de mercado de 10€. Pero en el crwodfunding ofrecemos más que el Cd, damos también una postal dedicada y costeamos los gastos de envío, por lo que asciende el precio. Esperamos haber resuelto tus dudas

No sé cómo están los precios en la clásica, quizá así. Tampoco, entiendo, que por el nº de instrumentos necesitéis 15 días de estudio. Por tanto,15 e por un CD me parece muy caro, no explicáis si es digipack, tres cuerpos o caja de plástico desfasado

Estimado Sr. Naredo. Para pagar la aportación sólo tiene que pinchar en la cantidad que desee donar. En cuanto al concierto privado, no hay plazo, se organiza para cuando el cliente lo necesite, bajo disponibilidad de los artistas. Muchas gracias, esperamos haber aclarado sus dudas.
