The objective of this crowdfunding is to cover the costs of editing and publication of the book how to analyze and evaluate mat-housing Written by Graziano Brau Pani and edited by Arquilecturas. The work is presented both in Spanish and English version. This publication is a research on the validity of the mat building system in contemporary architectural context: analyzing the history of this system the book contain a graphical catalog with projects from different eras. The analysis of them, through quantitative and qualitative criteria, allows the definition of potentials and urban shortcomings of this system, as such, is always actualized.
Origin of this project
The design of this book is born from the discussion of my master’s thesis conducted at the Laboratorio de la Vivienda Sostenible del Siglo XXI (2013). The vested interest in the development of this academic document and the amount of material collected led me to believe this work should not be restricted to academia. I decided to follow the teacher’s Josep Maria Montaner advice and continue the research which after three years resulted in this book.
How we'll allocate your contributions
To the costs of revision, translation, graphic design, printing, ISBN cost, taxes, commission crowdfunding platform and shipping. Reaching the initial benefits is not intended to make a profit, just enough to cover the costs.
Calendar
Once obtained the necessary contributions and only at the end of Verkami, the book will be taken to printing. After closing the crowdfunding the developer will receive your copy within a month (equivalent to printing and mailing).

Es posible comprar el libro en pdf? He de decir que siendo un proyecto de crowfunding no trato de distribuir gratuitamente el libro pero en mi caso tomo muchas anotaciones en todo lo que leo y a pesar el papel sienta bien no le saco tanto partido.THX
