The "Brass Brass Brass" Project
Spanish Brass has been hard at work for two years now on our newest educational/family show, "Brass Brass Brass", and we can't wait to release it in a double CD/DVD set!
The show begins with Spanish Brass entering to the rhythm of Thus Spoke Zarathustra, introducing our young audiences to the sound of brass instruments. "Brass Brass Brass" goes on to show the range of everything a brass quintet can play on two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba, from Baroque music by Johann Sebastian Bach to the popular music of many countries by composers such as Johann Strauss, Emmanuel Chabrier, Nino Rota, Pascual Piqueras, including arrangements of compositions by classical composers such as Boyce and modern ones such as Stravinsky, through jazz by such composers as Lee Morgan and Ramon Cardo.
This show is bursting with color, styles, captivating choreography and entertaining light shows. It's a fun, fascinating concert for the whole family.
The DVD / CD will be accompanied by a poster designed by our artist friend Rupert Hörbst which will explain the choreography of the show with imagery.
