My name is Santi Sallés, I am an illustrator and graphic designer. I am an urban sketcher. Last year (2014) I turned 50 and decided to treat myself to a trip to New York, my favorite city. For 23 days I was strolling around the city and drawing iconic buildings, places and objects that caught my attention.

New York is endless, anything inspires a drawing. Classics such as the Empire State Building, the Guggenheim Museum and the Statue of Liberty, or the American fast food, the taxis, the firefighters fire hydrants, etc.

I have created this project in order to share it with people who love New York and who also appreciate art books illustrated by the author.

What will I devote your contributions to?

The amount requested is for the layout, four-color printing and sending of the book. The book will also be registered in the legal deposit and an ISBN number will be requested.

NEW YORK drawing among giants is printed in Barcelona. If the amount of money collected exceeds the money requested, the surplus will be devoted to a possible increase in the edition, to the compensation of collaborators and to collect authors' intellectual property rights.
