Russian Portraits is my first discographic project. This project is possible thanks to a collaboration with the Orpheus Music label and contributions from all of you. It will be entirely devoted to Russian repertoire from the 19th and 20th centuries. Russian Portraits include major works by some of the most important Russian composers; Mussorgsky, Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev.
Who I am?
I was born in Santander and started studying music and piano with Irina Efanova at the National Conservatory of Music in Bolivia. I received my Bachelor degree in Barcelona studying with Stanislav Pochekin and am currently doing a Master's degree at the Royal College of Music as a student of Dmitri Alexeev.
I also received advice from great pianists like Boris Berman, Nino Kereselidze, Mikhail Voskresensky, Lang Lang, Natalia Trull, Jacques Rouvier, Joaquín Soriano among others.
I have been awarded prizes in numerous competitions, such as Intercentros Melómano, Marisa Montiel Competition, Infanta Cristina Competition, Jeunesses Musicales Competition, Ibiza International Competition, Maria Canals International Competition.
I have had the privilege to give recitals in major concert halls such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, National Music Auditorium, Canal Theatre, Metropol Theater, Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, as well as in cities like La Paz, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Viña del Mar, Medellin, Santander, Malaga, Cordoba, Barcelona, Madrid, Montorillon, Saint-Germain, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Mayfield, London amongst others.
I have been broadcast by RNE, Catalunya Music, TVE and TV3.
