WHO ARE WE?
We are PROJECTE DANSA- a non-wage-earning association. We have been working with contemporary dance and other ways of movement in the region of Alt Empordà (Catalonia) since 2009. We attempt to approximate contemporary dance to this region by performing and realizing our projects.
WHAT MOVES US?
We aspire to set up a centre of creation, formation, investigation and study of the movement based on the contemporary dance. A centre that would dynamize the progress of creative initiatives of dance and other artistic disciplines in this region.
We offer contemporary dance workshops, jams improvisation, creative and formation courses , participation in culturals initiatives and in exchange projects within the world of dance and colaboration with other artistic disciplines.
WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Our centre is situated in Figueres, it is a hall of 140 m2. We have been able to carry out most of the reforms of the venue, the division of the spaces and the building of changing rooms, showers and toilets. To finish the project and begin with our activities we need to put the floating floor in the big hall. That's why we ask all of you, young and older, for a collaboration to achieve our aim and be able to work and dance in suitable conditions.
