This great contemporary dance piece from Morocco, talks about women and their struggles. It tells the true story of Naima, Fatima, Hliouti, their every day conflicts in a repressive culture and the humiliation they suffer just for being dancers and singers. But more importantly, it shows their courage to stand up to huge social rejection, and their ability to fight back.

Madame Plaza has made an impact since its release in 2009. Its fame has grown to be programmed in the best theaters and dance spaces in cities like, Paris, London, New York, Berlin, Brussels, Vienna, Florence, Marseille and Amsterdam.

You can become a valuable part of our dynamic multicultural community by bringing Madame Plaza as a first event to Madrid in February 2015, and by helping us kickstart our future international festival.

With your contribution, we will cover part of the costs for bringing in the company to act in Madrid for three functions. Also, the flights, transport and accommodation of the artists and the technicians.

Festival FusiónCulturas, was born as an initiative of fusion between national and international artists, and will be celebrating its first edition in the heart of Madrid in 2016.

The first country to be presented is Morocco, with projects of more that forty artists in seven categories.

Our objective is to break the barriers between cultures and create a true cultural fusion for artists with risky projects in their homelands. Also, is to establish a benchmark annual event where a new country will be presented each year and new artists will have the opportunity to establish a fusion and simply create.
