1. The TEETAP
What is it?
The TEETAP is the first invention of THE ARTEE PROJECT and it can be used to easily transform any T-shirt in a canvas, elevating it to an art piece or just recycling it and giving it a second life.
WHAT IT CAN BE USED FOR?
How many of you have T-shirts in a closet that you love but you wear no longer?
A T-shirt from a concert or a group that you admire.
A T-shirt of the finals of an sporting competition.
One that reminds you of a good past time.
A T-shirt of that film, or that character you love so much...
The TEETAP allows you to place the T-shirts out of the closet, and give them a second life and a decorative use. So you can expose them in the place they deserve and not hidden from view of everyone.
And imagine how many graphic artists, painters and illustrators, can make T-shirts with their art for you?
The TEETAP can also transform any T-shirt in a canvas, transforming it to an art piece.
HOW IT WORKS?
It works with two pieces, folding the T-shirt on the outer part and fitting it with the inner part with a few movements.
Although the final version optimized by our industrial designer has two parts, the first prototype of the TEETAP had three parts. In any case the operation to make it work is very similar in the two prototypes and in the following video you can see it in detail.
The only difference is that now, with two parts, the TEETAP is even easier to use.
Finally we show you how do the T-shirts transformed in a canvas look like.
HOW IT IS DONE?
We have been three years studying how to produce the TEETAP and we have done the first prototype with our own resources. Some months ago our industrial designer who has worked for 8 years with recycled and recyclable materials, began to work with us to shape our invention.
We already have a working prototype and a design realized. All we need is to face the production costs to make it happen.
TYPES OF TEETAP
As you will see in the campaign there are three types of TEETAP:
TEETAP: A TEETAP that lets you convert your T-shirts in a canvas, giving them a second life.
TEETAP CUSTOM: A pack that includes a TEETAP and a T-shirt that we'll print with the design you send us.
TEETAP LIMITED: A pack that includes a TEETAP and a limited edition T-shirt numbered and created by one of 15 artists who gives us support in this campaign.
All TEETAP LIMITED of this campaign will only be available for 40 days during the crowdfunding campaign at Verkami.
THE FUNDER PACK: THE SERIAL NUMBERS OF THE FIRST TEETAP IN HISTORY
The first TEETAP in history have a special serial number that will be preceded by the letters VK (from Verkami). If you're one of us or our backers you'll have a serial number like this VKS0100001. A normal serial number will be like this S0101500.

SERGIO MORA
Sergio Mora is one of those people who, like the protagonist and director of the movie "Big Fish", knows the value of the light that gives us the power of fiction and daydreaming. The pseudonym Magicomora (as he sometimes sign his work), we could say that refers to the Nick Drake song "I was made to love magic." The difference is that he does not fight the gloom that surrounds us and gives up easily, creating its own magic and recreating himself with their shapes and colors.

4. Why we are doing a crowdfunding campaign
We need to produce molds to realize our invention so you would have your own TEETAP. Molds for plastic injection (recycled and recyclable) and the cost of injection represents an unaffordable budget for us.
Can we use traditional investment? Of course, but that's not the first step we wanted to give. We would love to start THE ARTEE PROJECT with the support of all of you. And so, because we believe in what we're doing and that you will like it, we decided to make this verkami to fund this project with your support.
We are not a multinational company, nor have many resources, but we are entrepreneurs with a dream that we are sharing with you all. Making the firsts TEETAP in history will not be easy, but we all can achieve this dream together.
MAKING THE TEETAP
To produce the TEETAP we need first of all 29,000 Euros to produce the molds to print the TEETAP by injecting the recycled plastic with which they are made. The plastic will be a recycled and recyclable material, and will be manufactured entirely in and around Barcelona.
OTHER COSTS
We must add to these 29,000 euros some other costs that will be detailed in the next section of this description and they take the minimum necessary to produce the first TEETAP to the amount of 55,000 euros. This campaign seeks to sell enough units of our invention, to achieve that objective, and be able to produce them and deliver them to backers.
And by the way, do not worry for what happens to your contribution if we do not reach the goal, you will not receive any charge crowdfunding works this way!.
If you are part of our history get ready because we will create a huge community of artists, art and tees lovers, producing products with our philosophy of social responsibility.
5. What your contributions will be used for
Let's check all the costs we have to begin this adventure.
On one side we have the mold we need to produce, the materials and the process of plastic injection, in total we need 29,000 euros (52.7% of the target of 55,000 euros we have).
The rewards costs, including compensation to artists, Continental Clothing T-shirts, TEETAP packaging, stamping for artworks on T-shirts, and shipping reward costs, total added 15,500 euros (28.2% of the target).
The campaign costs (Verkami and payment gateway fees) and our collaborators compensation, total added 7,500 euros (13.6% of the target).
And finally the tax cost (VAT) that adds 3,000 euros (5.5% of the target).
In total the cost to start this adventure with you is 55,000 euros. A challenge that we are sure to exceed with the collaboration of all of you.
DO WE COMPENSATE ARTISTS?
Of course, artists have supported us from the beginning for many reasons and we want to work with them to create a product that makes art accessible to everyone.
Therefore it is very important for us paying artists and work with them and supporting them in all their activities and projects.
With all of you we are going to create a socially responsible startup, that will make art accessible and will create value for all parties involved from production to final consumption.
6. Project Schedule
7. About THE ARTEE PROJECT
THE ARTEE PROJECT is a project that combines art, recycling, decorating, emotions and experiences with an innovative invention, the TEETAP, and T-shirts.
T-shirts have ceased to be mere clothing to become a new medium to reproduce prints, messages or illustrations.
From idea how to raise T-shirts to the category of art THE ARTEE PROJECT is born.
HOW WE DO THINGS
We want to talk to you about the values we have in THE ARTEE PROJECT.
Sustainability in our production and logistics processes.

We keep our values based on the following principles:
We believe in the value of art.
We believe in T-shirts as an artistic medium.
We want to democratize access to art.
We'll make recycled and recyclable products.
We encourage kilometer zero and our products will be made in Barcelona.
8. The story behind the project and our team
It all started three years ago, Miquel Requena CEO of THE ARTEE PROJECT in a sparkling moment as a result of several coincidences had the idea of transforming T-shirts into pictures and here the TEETAP concept was born. He began to think about the values and objectives that THE ARTEE PROJECT should have, as the company supposed to create the TEETAP.
The months passed between the first design sketch of the TEETAP and he was focused on "how" to create something solid and consistent with his idea.
As a result the values that we have already presented were created, being the result of Miquel's passion for doing things differently and in a sustainable way far away of the way larger companies do them.
As he often said, "If what we do don't make sense we will be just one more product, and we do not want to fall into that trap."
We are passionate about what we want to create with you all, and as you can see in our campaign video at Verkami we love to explain it, because this is the soul of this great little project.
In short, we'll take a very ordinary and universal item such as T-shirts, to flag that it is possible to do things differently, and we'll succeed only if you really want to support us.
TEAM
Miquel Requena as CEO.
Fer González as CTO (area of information technology).
Valentí Acconcia as CBO (business area).

9. What if we exceeded 100% of the target?
We have two surprises for you all if we can exceed 100% of our target.
If we get to 125% of target (68,750 euros) we'll edit on CD our gorgeous SOUNDTRACK of this verkami composed by Cha Blasco composer in THE ARTEE PROJECT and will deliver it to all backers for free.
If we get to 150% of target (82,500 euros) we'll develop the TEETAP COVER and deliver it to all backers with no extra cost!
The TEETAP COVER is a sheet of recycled plastic to protect the art printed on T-shirts turned into pictures with the TEETAP.
10 Why should you support this campaign?
We will create together a community of artists and lovers of **T-shirts.
We'll work with special workplaces for packaging and shipping.
The TEETAP will be a product 100% made in Barcelona (kilometer zero).
The product is 100% socially responsible (recycling and organic).
We'll work with the socially responsible T-shirts of Continental Clothing with whom we are already doing printing test on their T-shirts.
T-SHIRTS AND OUR PARTNER CONTINENTAL CLOTHING
The T-shirts are very important for us at THE ARTEE PROJECT and to ensure its quality and environmental responsibility, we have Continental Clothing as a collaborator. Continental Clothing is leader in production of recycled textile responsible to the environment, with collections of T-shirts as Salvage, created from 100% recycled materials.
Moreover Continental Clothing offers a wide variety of sizes and patterns, so that each design of each artist fit perfectly to create the best item with the best base color. We want anybody to wear our T-shirts and before living lots of experiences with them transform them in a canvas with the TEETAP.
For each design of each artist you will see that there are different patterns available, seeking the best option possible to suit every body and make you feel comfortable wearing a piece of art.

Hola, interesantísimo invento para decorar la casa. Enhorabuena. La pregunta es: Una vez has montado un Teetap, puede desmontarse y cambiar la camiseta por otra para ir renovando tu decoración según te apetezca? Saludos.
