Irakli Kordzaia is a Georgian journalist and director. He left Georgia in 2017 and lives in exile in Warsaw. The reason for leaving was his journalistic and civil activities to uncover corruption and wrongdoing within the Georgian government. In 2020, Irakli Kordzaia directed his first documentary, "Woman from Belarus," about the oldest Belarussian activist, Nina Baginskaya. The film had a huge success in Belarus. The documentary was included in the competition section of the Biarritz Film Festival.
