BERNARDA'S BACKSTAGE

Alejandra is a director, performer and puppet maker working in Spain, London and New York. She studied with the American Master puppeteers Dan Hurling and Tom Lee and Basil Twist in New York in a period of two years. Back in Europe she worked with the International Awarded company Blindsummit, with whom she has built a strong relationship. She also has worked with the Croatian Company Bacaci Senji, as a performer. In 2008 she creates the theater group Winged Cranes, based first in London and then in Madrid. In Winged Cranes artists work in collaboration in different theatre projects about identity, limits and the relationship between artists and social political change.
