New Spanish Brass CD - 25

SPANISH BRASS LUUR METALLS will be recording our twentieth CD to celebrate our 25 years as an ensemble!

We’ll be recording works by a variety of Spanish and international composers, some of which were written especially for Spanish Brass Luur Metalls by Albert Guinovart, Salvador Brotons, Allen Vizzutti, Ramon Cardo, Pascual Piqueras, Jesús Santandreu, others are new arrangements created by and for us, such as La Forza del Destino, Le Coucou, Stravinsky’s Royal March, etc.

WHY IS SPANISH BRASS LUUR METALLS DOING A CROWD-FUNDING PROJECT WITH VERKAMI?

We are all aware of the situation our country is mired in—and Spanish culture has been hit especially hard. it is almost impossible to obtain institutional support, and when support is available, it doesn’t begin to cover the expenses of a project such as this.

Some people may think that Spanish Brass is “rolling in money” from the concerts we play around the world—but nothing could be further from the truth. To create a project like Spanish Brass—and to keep it going—requires us to ask for your help on many occasions.

On the other hand, we want also to let you know how thrilled we are to be celebrating this major milestone, the 25th anniversary of a project that, since its début, has made chamber music a way of life. We believe that this makes it worthy of asking your collaboration.

We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who has believed in us, kept us in their thoughts, and supported us. Thank you!!!

All of SBLM's products are distinguished by the care taken at every step, from performance to graphics to distribution.

TIMELINE

In May we’ll be recording the music.

In June we’ll be producing and mixing the CD.

The official CD release will take place on July 1, 2014 at the Festival SBALZ 2014 (http://www.sbalz.com)

Rewards will be sent from July 15th.
