Bailaora is the story of a life dedicated to Flamenco. Twenty years of professional experience in an unique and intense world.
The fate led my first steps at the age of four to this exciting path. Since then I have never been separated from.
Flamenco is much more than an artistic and cultural manifestation, it is a living and popular art, and it flows from the inner life of the feelings and emotions. That is why it is not just a profession but something that becomes a specific way of life, where enjoyment and pain are equally divided.
That is the plot of BAILAORA : a tour through the different styles within Flamenco ( Palos ) to defeat the cliché and the established rules, and to show its real soul, being the passion of the artist towards her profession the guiding thread. You will put on the shoes of the dancer and will feel it from her point of view.

This lifelong process has led me to be who I am: BAILAORA. Between vanguard and tradition, between passion and the pain caused by loving a profession full of ups and downs...

WHY A CROWFUNDING CAMPAIGN?
Due to the difficulty of getting financial aid through institutional channels and the lack of enough resources for self-financing, I consider very adequate this alternative way to give life to this personal creation.
I appreciate as positive and necessary an actively participation and certain decision-making level from the public to whom the cultural offer is adressed to.
For this reason, I seek to convey you in short all the enthusiam about this project, so that you may help me with your donations to make it into reality.
After many personal sacrifices in this profession, I would like to perform this show focusing on the effort and dedication of the artists, showing my inside as bailaora.

WHERE THE DONATIONS GO
Original music composition, script, lighting, scenography, costume design, choreography, rehearsals..., i.e., the associated production process.
CALENDAR
Once the financial resources are obtained, -hopefully thanks to your donations-, the show production will be launched.
We will begin with the script and musical pieces selection, as well as the choreography.
The process will be long and we will be on it until the end of October 2014. In November and December 2014, will be dedicated to lighting, costume design, scenography and rehearsals.
In January 2015 will take place final rehearsals and the Seville Premiere.
We will then reward all those who will have contributed with their donations to make the show into reality. We strongly appreciate in advance their support and trust for this project. For those who could not attend the Premiere, an alternative solution would be managed.
