The documentary, at the hands of the director and producer Daniel Arregui, aims to present the Cadaqués Orchestra International Conducting Competition, which has taken place since 1992. Prestigious conductors have emerged from this competition, such as Gianandrea Noseda, Vasily Petrenko, Michal Nesterowicz and Pablo González, today the chief conductors of renowned orchestras.

123 conductors from around the world who were selected from nearly 300 applications, participated in the eleventh edition, held from 11 to 19 December 2013, in Cadaques and Barcelona. All rounds of the competition were live broadcasted.
After the Final Round, held in Barcelona on the 19th of December 2013, the First Prize was given to Lorenzo Viotti. Vlad Vizireanu received the Second Prize and a special prize from the Jury went to Michiel Delanghe.

PURPOSE OF THE CAMPAIGN
Your contributions will go towards to the production of a DVD with the images and footage taken during the competition. The documentary will be directed by Dani Arregui and will last 26 minutes.
Daniel Arregui has had the opportunity to be a direct witness to the intense musical experience of these one hundred and twenty-three conductors during the competition and wants this documentary to serve as a record of the event.
