MAILA, A WORLD OF STORIES THROUGH MUSIC
Maila is the main character of the musical show for kids created by Marta Casals and artistically directed by Iñaki Marquiegui. Over the last few months, Marta and Iñaki created, with great enthusiasm and dedication, an album full of imaginative and unique characters that will blow the fantasy of the little ones (and not so little too) .
The illustrations that accompany the Maila songs have been created by Marta Balaguer. With sounds that pass from symphonic music to pop, through reggae and funky, we'll discover, for example, the story of the puppets' tree, how swallows build their new home or the adventures of a mischievous Carnival.
WHERE WILL YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS WILL GO?
The money needed will serve the hard costs of completion for the edition of 500 copies of the album in physical format, the design of the various digital platforms, to pay the processing fees for all of your contributions and to prepare the presentation concert we are all waiting.
Once we finished crowdfunding campaign (from 16 December 2013 to 24 January 2014), we'll be making the final touches to the design of the illustrations and the cover of the album and the albums will be all ready to go to the factory!
Meanwhile, Marta and the other musicians will be preparing the presentation concert and so, once expected to reach the hard copies of Maila, we'll just have to alert all the people that would have participated to this crowdfunding campaign and invite them to the presentation concert, where you will receive the disc and other rewards.
In case you could not come to the concert, from a minimum price advertised here on the right side, you will get the record at home. The concert is scheduled to be presented in late January and early February 2014 and the final date will be announced by email in advance.
