About Us
Matote was formed in 2012 in Badalona. After recording their first album and two EP at Wheelsound Studio, they began to make a name for themselves in the underground scene. Currently, Matote is about to release their new album, "L'Obaga," recorded at Farm of Sounds Studio with Eloi Boucherie, frontman of Vidres a la Sang and a leading figure in Catalan extreme metal. In this new journey, the band seeks to deepen the connection between heavy death metal and black metal riffs with progressive music and post-metal. A continuous interplay of contradictions and explosions where transcendent atmospheres are grounded by powerful riffs, reminding us that space and earth are part of an inseparable whole.

How Your Donations Will Be Used
All funds raised will be used to manufacture the vinyl decals and t-shirts.
Projected Timeline
Production will begin once the campaign ends. The estimated delivery will be during September or early October 2026.
The international shipping costs for the add-on do not include import taxes, customs duties, or any other fees specific to the destination country. These costs, if incurred, will be the sole responsibility of the backers.
