Release of CICATRIUS I NAUFRAGIS ("SCARS AND SHIPWRECKS"), MIQUEL PUJADÓ's 20th album

I would really like you to collaborate in the release of my 20th album, CICATRIUS I NAUFRAGIS, scheduled for the end of September, and which you will receive at home, dedicated (if you wish), and with the English translation of the lyrics . Your name will appear in the album folder, and you can also receive the song files by email, as well as various gifts.

CICATRIUS I NAUFRAGIS has musical production and arrangements by XAVIER BATLLÉS (OVIDI MONTLLOR, ORQUESTRA MIRASOL, LA RONDALLA DE LA COSTA, LLAR DE FOLK…) and the participation of great musicians such as PAU FIGUERES, PEP PASCUAL, QUIM OLLÉ, BLAI CASALS, LAURA ESPEJO, etc.

The album includes 15 songs, of great musical diversity and very elaborate in terms of lyrics, which speak, not without a good dose of irony and tenderness, of increasingly dark times, and aim to inject a little light into them. These are songs that:

• play with words to talk about literature (EL FICCIONAUTA), artistic creation (AL COR DE LA GUITARRA) and the Orwellian reduction, programmed and directed, of both the lexicon (LA NIT DELS MOTS VIVENTS) and critical thinking (UN PERFECTE CRETÍ)

• highlight the crisis of education (PROFESSOR DE RISC)

• start from the murders of the Mallorcan Aurora Picornell and the Valencian Guillem Agulló to denounce the fascism of the here and now (AURORA I GUILLEM)

• satirize both religious fanaticisms (TARATS DE DÉU) and THE REIGN OF DANDRUFF that we have been suffering from for so long.

• claim humor (CAL RIURE DE TOT), dignity (TRISTESES DE PLUTÓ) and memory (RESTAURADOR DE RECORDS, LES NOIES DELS ANYS 70), as well as some people who bring a little light to our environment (UN ESTEL AL FONS D’UN POU, L’EXÈRCIT DE L’OMBRA).

I am convinced that CICATRIUS I NAUFRAGIS will be my best album and I would like to be able to share it with you.
