“The Search” is born from that human restlessness: the thirst to find purpose, belonging and meaning.

▪️ABOUT THE WORK
"The Search" is a theatrical monologue that explores this shared experience among all human kind.
A work that fuses poetry, music, and physical expression, bringing to life the poems of André Nascimento, a Brazilian, naturalized in Spain.
An intimate and visceral scenic performance, designed to connect with the mind and heart of the audience, and provoke the following question:
After recognizing his existential thirst, the protagonist begins a journey. He searches through different dimensions of life. But, he discovers something unsettling: he has only tasted murky water. A water that distorts, animalizes, and dehumanizes. Where is the water that truly quenches?
This monologue was first born as a performance. Now it has grown to become a full-length theatrical play (approx. 50 minutes).

▪️WHO ARE WE?
Behind this project are artists united by the same creative restlessness.
The play was born in the mind and heart of André Nascimento, a Brazilian, naturalized in Spain.
During his academic theatre training in Spain, he heard a provocative phrase that served as a springboard:
“Go write your own plays!”
He took that impulse, joined it with this theme that haunts and moves him so much, and thus “The Search” was born.
Damaris Morgado (actress and singer) and Davi Nunes (actor, poet and clown) — friends for years — joined the project, contributing their creativity, experience and vision.
▪️HOW WILL WE USE YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS?
To bring “The Search” to the stage, we need to fund its complete production, according to the chart below:
▪️PROJECTED TIMELINE
"The Search" is currently in the process of creation and staging.
The premiere is scheduled for May 2026.
The rewards will be delivered in May or June 2026: in person to those who attend the premiere, or by mail.

Physical rewards will be shipped within Spain (also to Europe, for an additional fee).
