Xirimiri is a free school located in the Basque Country: a space where children can grow at their own pace and discover the world through curiosity, play, nature and meaningful relationships with the people around them.
But Xirimiri is much more than an educational project: it is a community, a place where children and adults learn, live and support one another.
Emotional connection, an e*cosystemic perspective and experiential learning* are the pillars of our project.

Over the past few years we have grown this way of life thanks to community work and the trust of many families.
Little by little Xirimiri is growing: more and more children, families and companions are joining us… and that fills us with joy. But our space is becoming too small.
Our children are also growing up, and the older ones deserve their own space, adapted to their stage, rhythm and needs.
✨ Turning the large empty attic into a space full of life.
To do this we need to adapt the third floor (250 m²):
🔧 repair the roof
🪟 install new windows
🔥 install heating and water
🚿 build a bathroom
🪵 repair the floor
🧱 build walls and divide the spaces
To make all this possible we turn to you.
