Debut Album - Júlia Pascual

Hello!

I'm Júlia, and if you’re reading this, it’s because you want to know a little more about what I’m creating.

After many years performing covers, Uri and I spent an entire year in the studio composing and arranging my first album of original songs. It’s a collection of 9 carefully crafted tracks in English and Catalan, shaped over many months and inspired by my experiences in recent years. Every sound and detail of this project has been thoughtfully cared for, and we finally recorded it with musicians we’ve always admired.

Following in the footsteps of artists like Ryan Beatty, Lizzy McAlpine, Joni Mitchell, Carlos Ares, and Kacey Musgraves, among others, I can’t wait to bring this album to life and let you get to know me through my sound.

This project isn’t just a collection of songs. It’s a search for a visual, musical, and poetical identity.

I’m sure these songs will resonate with you as much as they do with us.

Who am I?

I’m a singer and a student of jazz and modern music at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu. I’ve been singing everywhere and all the time since I was little. When I started studying music more seriously, I realized that what I truly love is writing songs and telling stories through music.

At 16, I fell in love with the guitar, and ever since, I haven’t stopped writing songs in my room. I’m passionate about everything that music can move. I’ve always been drawn to organic music and the beauty in simplicity—and that’s exactly what I try to convey through my songs.

This album has many different influences, which gives it a very special sound. Here, I’m sharing the track that opens the album so you can enjoy it and get a sense of the overall aesthetic of the project.

And, of course, Uri Garrell. With him, we composed, arranged, and recorded all the tracks. He has been the cornerstone of this album, supporting me and guiding me through every moment of doubt.

What will your contributions go towards?

This campaign is all about bringing my first album to life! Your support will help cover the final steps: mixing and mastering the album, the vinyl production, and all the visual elements of the project. After working on this for so long, this is the last push I need to make these songs truly yours.

Timeline:

The album is already recorded! I just need your help to put the final touches on everything we’ve worked on this past year.

The album is set to be released in February 2026, and on March 5th, 2026, we’ll celebrate it live with the full band at CAT (Tradicionàrius) in Barcelona. I’d love for you to grab your advance tickets through Verkami and help make this dream come true.
