Recording of the 'Front Porch Sessions' album

After many years of playing music and sharing a deep love for traditional Appalachian music, Ned Somerville (North Carolina) and David Prat "Prat Instruments"(Badalona, Barcelona) have come together to bring their music to audiences as a duo and to record their first album together.

This project is a collection of traditional American music, including Old-Time, Bluegrass, and Folk, featuring fiddle, guitar, banjo, and vocal harmonies. Made to sound as two musicians playing on a Log Cabin's front Porch.

What will your support help fund?

The money raised through Verkami will go toward:

Recording, mixing, and mastering the album

Manufacturing physical copies of the CD

Paying the musicians who are collaborating on the project

Distribution and promotion of the album.

Planned schedule:

September: Recording and production of the CD.

October: Manufacturing of the CD.

November: CD release/presentation.
