The idea of La Buena Fe came visiting our grandmother in the hospital a few months ago. On arrival we found an empty desk and an area that seemed uninhabited. We could only ask ourselves... What if someone were to come here alone with an emergency?
Finally, a very stressed nurse told us that they were completely overworked and under minimum staff.
Since then we've been hearing about similar situations. Situations that we consider unfair for both: patients and health service staff.
Unfortunately, we are not talking about something anecdotical, this is a consistent reality that gets worse every day. So we wanted to collect these stories and concentrate all the despair and the frustation that we see in a single one, the story of Marisa.
La Buena Fe is a short fiction film about the story of Marisa, a 35-year woman who water breaks unexpectedly and goes to the nearest hospital where she lives a real nightmare.
Marisa has heard about changes to public healtcare but she is not aware of the severity and extent of these measures until she lives its consequences.
WHAT IS THE MONEY FOR?
The whole team of La Buena Fe works selflessly to move the project forward. The money will be used solely to defray the cost of lighting, sound, camera rental, catering, etc.
