Softness of the Dark

An album that talks about death and resurrection.

When I was 16 years old I lived through a toxic relationship that led to sexual, mental, emotional and physical abuse. In this album I don't talk so much of the experience but more of the grief and process that one lives afterwards a part of the process that many times is lived in silence and shame.

I've been five years immersed in this grief process, and leaving all the emotions that my body stored.

I've died many times in this process and at the same time, parts of myself that I thought were lost were found again.

This album is the voice of this grief, that doesn't scream, but whispers to itself that there's an and to the pain, that you can come back to yourself

I hope with all my heart that this music can comfort and give company to anyone who is living or has lived a situation like this.

In this album we will have amazing collaborations

This album follows the landscape of the emblematic song Aiguaclara, from our previous E.P, called Amor.

Who are we?

Nawal is a musical project its intuition is to enable as a bridge between the language of the heart and music.

Guida Torras Parés composer, lyrics, singer, music therapist and creator of the project

Student of composition and pedagogy al Taller de Músics de Barcelona, contemplates music and creative expression as an essential tool to live a balanced healthy live

Max Tuset, producer and guitarist of the project. Graduated in sound, multi-instrumentalist and nature lover.

He has a long career, as a member of different musical projects, going through styles such as Funk, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Indie and others.

Laura Solà Blanes is the cellist of the project.

Sound technician and graduate of the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Manresa, motivated to make this project a reality both by learning in various musical branches such as improvisation, and by the feeling and emotion that the original songs give off.

What will we use your contributions for?

The majority of the contributions will go towards the production, mixing and mastering of the album.

There will also be a portion for musician collaborations, rewards and campaign preparation.

Scheduled

APRIL:

• Campaign Begins: The campaign begins and we will keep you all updated on the progress and it is time to share this beautiful project with everyone!

• Special Rewards: Get the special rewards before they disappear.

MAY:

• CAMPAIGN ENDS ON MAY 10!

• End of Campaign Concert: Come to the big end of campaign celebration.

• Start the work: The work begins, we start producing the album in the studio and preparing the rewards!

MAY/JUNE/JULY/AUGUST:

• Video blogs: We tell you what it's like to go into the studio, bring songs to life and collaborate with incredible musicians.

• Sneak Peak: We show you little details of how the rewards and songs are coming out.

• Pre-release Pray: The song Pray with video clip will be released only for patrons with pre-release :0

SEPTEMBER:

WE WILL SEND YOU ALL THE REWARDS INCLUDING THE DISC!! :)

OCTOBER

• Rewards: If some rewards cannot be sent in September, they will be sent in October.

• Disc publication: The disc will be made public so that you can share it with everyone. Your friends, uncles, grandparents, mothers, fathers and neighbors!!!
