“La semilla del encanto” First album by singer Laura Marchal

Patronage work to finance the edition as well as the promotion and press/marketing campaign of the album and its respective 2024/25 tour.

A complete and carefully produced work around flamenco singing that one day was born from the attraction for flamenco singing of a little girl in a town in Jaén, took root in her throat and in her voice and that today we have the pleasure of present with the name of:

LA SEMILLA DEL ENCANTO (THE SEED OF CHARM)

In “La semilla del encanto”, Laura Marchal gives power to her creative freedom and immerses us in a journey through Andalusian geography to places that have been key to the transmission of flamenco such as neighbours' patios, grandparents' houses, the mountains of Malaga, the taverns, clubs...

She writes to her land, she sings to the people of the countryside, she performs a Granaína that tastes like the lyrics of bitter heartbreak that Ella Fitzgerald once sang. She denounces the precariousness and lack of consideration of Spanish society towards the artist in a beautiful guajira of her own composition...

At the same time, it compiles true gems of popular poetry with carefully selected styles such as Soleá, Sevillanas, Taranta, Verdiales and a long list of songs.

Making this album a reality through Verkami adds the value of the link with the public through music and the possibility of closely sharing our way of understanding and transmitting flamenco in very special presentation concerts.

This album has been recorded throughout 2023. And currently we have already released several singles:

1st: Black Olives (May 3, 2024)

2nd: Soleá at ca' la grandmother (June 21, 2024)

3rd: My Colombian (September 26, 2024)

4th: Gitaneando (November 15, 2024) and official launch.

For the Presentation Tour, which will be throughout 2025, we are preparing something very very special, I hope everything goes well, we can carry out this cool idea and you will experience it in first person.
