📕 Published for the first time, in a luxurious hardcover edition with previously unpublished documents, which pays tribute to the creators and artists who worked on the original production from 1981 to 1986.
Synopsis
📖 The Art of Gadget, tells the story of how four great personalities (Jean Chalopin, Bruno Bianchi, Andy Heyward and Bernard Deyriès) accompanied by an extraordinary team, drove the original 1983 production of the television animation classic: Inspector Gadget, catapulted the French animation company DIC (Diffusion, Information and Communication), to break into the US market, and become one of the most remembered independent animation production companies worldwide, for up to three generations.
In The Art of Gadget, a large part of the original team from all its co-production countries (directors, producers, designers, scriptwriters, storyboard artists...etc), accompanied by its three main creators, reunite to tell the story of the most determined, kind, clumsy and clueless cartoon of all time, **backed by original lost drawings and documents from the production.

Who am i?
✍️ Behind this wonderful book, I am Daniel Gallego, a young illustrator and graphic designer, passionate about animation since I was a child and nostalgia, since I am an adult.
My biggest dream has always been to capture my ideas and turn them into reality, so in 2022, I founded my own publishing brand "Cucúrucho ediciones" and fulfill another of my great dreams (kept in my portfolio since I was a child) with the publication of my children's story, based on two of my original characters: Sara and Pata de remo.
5 years ago, when I was 22 years old, I decided to promote The Art of Gadget, an adventure that I never thought would become a reality, and that has been a joy for me, meeting the heroes of my childhood and that has inspired me to dedicate myself day by day to what I always wanted to be: Creator and illustrator of stories.
In my day to day, I keep working to make reality, all the illusions that I have always wanted to create :D
📯 Special thanks to the creators, artists, collectors, animation history preservation entities, WildBrain CPLG, Genius Brands, Age of Learning, Nelvana, 39 Escalones films and all the people who have helped to collect this lost material.
