We would like to invite you to help us make this project possible by participating with us in the exciting journey to create a new album.
'Impulse' is the second album of DEALAN and is in his mastering stage. It will be released for sale in late April, at the album presentation concert that will be held at “Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius” in Gracia, Barcelona, on April 28th.
The money we get through this platform, 'Verkami' , will be destined to make the first 1000 copies of the album and pay part of the process of recording, mixing and mastering of the eleven tracks of "Impulse". The approximate cost will be a total of 6,000 €. DEALAN will assume the rest of the cost as we did with previous projects such as 'Crossing the worlds' (2007).
Would you like to travel with us to a performance? Want to join the group for a day? Would you like to become our sponsor? ...
It has been a long process that now comes to an end and we want to share it with you all, offering different options and rewards that would be impossible to achieve by any other way and that we consider as a gift in gratitude for your participation/collaboration.
From Ireland to India, through the whole mediterranean arch, musical instruments from many cultures meet in an explosive sound of contemporary arrangements without loosing traditional essence.
The band, wich was born in Barcelona more than 8 years ago, has grown to currently become one of the major actors with more potential and projection in the new folk's scene of their country. From the very beginning, the research of new sounds has lead them to experiment with different instruments such as the Uillean Pipe, Arabian Lute, Fiddle, Sitar, Cello, or Didgeridoo, among others. As a result, this unique sound supported by a modern basis, results into an open and very personal style they transmit convincingly in their shows.A strong and surprising mise-en-scene with complicity in stage and strong connection with audience has brought them with more than a hundred performances in the last years to stages nationwide, and recently over Europe in renowned festivals like Celtica in Italy or Zamek Festival in Poland.
