Over the years Luis González and Carlos Gil have forged and strengthened their professional and personal relationship, thanks in part to the many festivals and courses that Spanish Brass has organized.
The word synergy perfectly defines and exemplifies what this relationship has meant to brass playing in our country, and it is deeply meaningful for Spanish Brass to embody this in a recording that both validates and augments the repertoire written for these instruments.
José Gallego, pianist and artistic partner of both Luis and Carlos, has played an essential role on this CD, which is rounded out by an important cast of friends and artists including Paco Lluch, Carlos Llidó, Carlos Benetó, Juanjo Serna, Alfonso González, Nicolás Zubia, Inda Bonet, Juan Carlos Matamoros, Javier Gonzalo and Nacho Pérez.
